With recently installed Swiss telecabin lift system which can transport up to 2000 people an hour, lift times have been massively reduced allowing you more time on the slopes. Banskos skiing area ranges from 2000–2600m and has over 70km of piste. The longest run in the resort stretches for 16km.
With a superb mix of both beginner, intermediate and advanced piste Bansko offers the perfect combination for any keen skier. 2007 sees the launch of Bansko board park and half pipe ideal for any keen snowboarder.
Also renowned for its superb ski school, Pirin 2000 Ski School offers multilingual lessons throughout the season, be it beginners classes or off piste you can rest assured you are in experienced hands.
Après Ski
Bansko offers some of the best Après Ski in Bulgaria.You will find a good selection of restaurants for dining out, serving local and international cuisine, and all at great value for money prices! There are numerous bars playing a mixture of live and recorded music late into the night.
